Because we’ve all been hurt before…

People search for a bunch of little torments…

Then delight, even dwell, in heartaches.

I’m not sure if it’s really about struggling for

a dose of happiness…

People have different definitions of it anyway.

Perhaps, it’s about finding how much you can handle.

It’s about knowing up to what’s worth.

Many would likely not agree …

But I surmise many of us are,

to varying degrees,

Masochists.
