Like a cinder that turned to ash when the fire’s glory is all consumed… It was a kalan de uling used here in the Philippines that you use for cooking over the common stove. I felt the urge of taking a snap of it when I saw it. There’s something about it that is creepy and beautiful. It kinds of reminds me of the old adage:
